We REALLY LOVE animals and know you do, too.
Select properties are available to rent for those with beloved animals. The properties which are available to pet owners will be clearly indicated in the description. We have ELIMINATED a one-time, non-refundable pet Allergen Cleaning because we found that all our animal owners kept the homes beautiful and paid for any damage right away. Pet rent is also ELIMINATED.
Yes, that means Zero extra fees for pet owners. We do have the following guidelines:
No breeds in these categories or mixtures, thereof: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, Wolf/ Wolf Breed Cross, Boxers, or any exotic cats, farm animals, or hogs (yes we have to put that for a reason) NO EXCEPTIONS - please don’t ask because our insurance is super strict and we know your particular animal is sweet as a dove. We have had these breeds ourselves, except the hogs. However, our insurance doesn’t vary - they are firm in their stance so please don’t even ask for exceptions.
We do require current renters' insurance that specifically covers animal liability with your animal breed confirmed covered for dog owners. You can submit a copy of your policy and confirmation of breed guidelines via email to info@runningcreekproperties.com.
We also need a recommendation from a previous landlord stating your animal has been a good citizen and no damage to the home occurred during your tenancy there.
The animal must have no history of aggression or any propensity to excessive barking which causes a nuisance to neighbors. This is grounds for immediate notice of lease violation and possible termination, so please be honest about what your animal needs. If she really needs her own space, just be upfront about that and don’t apply for a multi-family home. We have single family homes with fenced in yards which do come available. Just ask.
All animals, regardless of kind, must be 40 lbs or under.
Cats and Dogs must be spayed and neutered. Vet documentation may be required.
If your animal makes a mess or does damage, you just agree to pay for it. We think just keeping it simple is the best for everyone!
Note that only animals on the lease should EVER be in the residence. We cannot allow pet sitting for obvious reasons. We do still limit occupancy for animals to 2 animals who must be approved in writing and photos submitted (we all love cute fur baby photos!)
