Moving Forward - When It's Time to Move Out

Sometimes it’s time….

We understand that everything has a season! Maybe it’s a new job or new opportunity that means you’re leaving the Running Creek Community. We want you to feel the same support and value as when you arrived. Here are the steps you’ll need to take when you’re getting ready to move:

1) Text our Central Office line 740-277-1619 and let us know your plans. The sooner the better so we can get you started on the process.

2) Our office staff will forward you the Move-Out Form via DocHub that includes instructions and the cleaning list.

3) As your moving date gets closer, you will receive an email with your final Move-Out Numbers with your prorated rent. It’s refunded to you prorated per day based on your moving date after you have turned in the keys.

4) Crazy stuff can happen when you’re moving and if your moving is delayed, please tell us immediately. This can have a serious domino effect as we have other families moving into your unit and other folks moving into theirs. If you have a “hold-over” time after your move-out date, please note the charge will be $150 per day due to all the service providers’ fees and rescheduled maintenance checks. Our service providers are great but they charge fees if we reschedule with them.

5) When you are ready, turn in the keys by leaving them on the kitchen counter and text the Central Office # even if it’s After Hours. The phone system will time stamp it so that your rent will stop on that date.
